The capital of UK is the largest metropolitan area in Europe. It is divided into the so called 32 districts and the main financial centre City of London. The name of the area comes from the annual May Fair, which was banned in 1764. The borders of the district are from Hyde Park and Bond Street to the west and east, Oxford Street to the north and Piccadilly to the south.
