Airports in London

If you have already decided where you are going to spend your vacation, then it is time to think about the transportation. The most comfortable and fast way to travel is by air. After I told you what an amazing city is London, now I will tell you more about two of the busiest London airports and the luxurious London Waldorf hotel.

The capital of UK is the largest metropolitan area and the most visited city in the world. That's why there are five international airports in London which make the city's airspace one of the busiest. Of course Heathrow is the largest one and it appears to be the second busiest in Europe after Charles de Gaulle in Paris. The airport has five terminals but only four of them are operating because the second one is under construction. The runways are two as there is a project for a third one and one more terminal as well but it was canceled in 2010. Near the airport, you can find some of the best Heathrow airport hotels which offer great customer service.

The second largest airport in London is Gatwick, popular with the busiest single-use runway. Another interesting thing about it is the great facilities it has on the both terminals. There is a lounge for leisure travelers and a multi-faith prayer room. There are also a conference and business centre, and if you miss your flight, you can take an advantage of one of the Gatwick airport hotels, where you will find great hospitality and luxury.
