Beautiful Sites in Rome

  It's great when we have a reason for a short vacation. If you haven't travelled anywhere soon, then it is time for you to make a trip to the most ancient city – Rome. Valentine's Day is the perfect occasion. Surprise the one you love with a romantic dinner or just a night in one of the unforgettable hotels in Rome.

  Along with the romantic evening, you can take your time to see some of the historical places and attractions in the city. The must-visit list is very long so I will try to point out a few of the most interesting landmarks. Amongst them is the Colosseum that was used for gladiatorial battles in ancient times. Not less popular is the Vatican city and the Vatican Museums. They receive more than 4 million tourists every year.

  You cannot go to Rome without visiting the amazing Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. Although it looks like a perfect place for having a lunch, remember that it was banned to eat on the steps. The staircase of 138 steps is favourite place for artists and models. At the base of the piazza, you will see the beautiful Fontana della Barcaccia which is another must-visit attraction.

  And at last, do not forget to taste the Italian food. In the centre of the city, except the many luxurious Rome hotels, you can find also some of the finest restaurants.
