Skiing In Scotland

The mountains in Scotland cannot be described as massive by world standards, but they should not be underestimated when it comes to mountain sports. Although the Scottish climate is a maritime one, dominated by the weather from the Atlantic Ocean, there is still some great skiing to be had at certain times of the year.

Child Friendly Sardinia

I have never come across a travel destination that is as child friendly as Sardinia, and trust me, I have been looking for quite some time now. I do not really have the option of leaving my children home when I travel for business, as I am relatively new to our neighbourhood and have not established that type of network yet. Regardless, typically there is an abundance of stress that is associated with travelling with my 2 daughters: how to keep them entertained while I am in conferences, making sure that they are well fed, and keeping a close eye on them when we are partaking in various activities throughout the city.

Things To See In Glasgow

Apart from the superb warm and friendly people of the city of Glasgow itself, there are a great many attractions, which are outside the city and easy to get to. You could for example take a trip to see Loch Ness. If you are lucky, you may even get to see the monster after a few shots of whiskey.

Holidaying In Sardinia

When planning your trip to Sardinia, the first thing to remember is that if you are not there at the height of summer then it can be really cold, so if you want to take advantage of the clean sea and the fantastic beaches then you should try and visit between the end of May and the beginning of September. Outside of these months the winds that whip over the island from the Mediterranean can be freezing. They are what cause the exceptional rock formations that you will find all over the island, especially in the north-east.
